DESCRIPTION:During the February 2026 District Visitation season\, we launch a District-wide effort focused on what matters most which is bringing our Brothers back into the light of fellowship. \nThis initiative\, led by the DDGM\, is known as the 250th Challenge. \n🎯 Purpose of the Initiative\nOur collective goal is to personally reconnect with 250 Brothers across the District who have not been seen in Lodge during the past six months. \nThis is Masonry at its best being personal\, caring\, and intentional. \nDistrict Goal:\n10 Lodges • 25 Brothers each • 250 total re-engaged \n\n🤝 What This Looks Like in Action\nThis is not a mass email or a postcard. This is Brother-to-Brother outreach. \nLodges are encouraged to: \n\nCall Brothers personally\nVisit face-to-face when possible\nExtend a warm and genuine invitation back to Lodge\n\nMake their return comfortable and meaningful: \n\nInvite them to a Lodge breakfast or fellowship event\nOffer transportation if needed\nWelcome their wives and families to social gatherings\n\n\n📘 Helping Brothers Feel Comfortable Again\nSome Brothers stay away because they feel disconnected or out of practice. We remove that concern. \nWhen they return\, Lodges should: \n\nReview Lodge symbolism and procedures in a welcoming way\nUpdate them on Lodge and District happenings\nAssist with GrandView access and updates\nExplain programs such as the Blue Slipper Program\nReintroduce them to the rhythm of Lodge life\n\n\n🚗 Rebuilding Brotherhood Through Participation\nEncourage renewed involvement: \n\nTravel together to visit another Lodge\nAttend District breakfasts and events\nParticipate in 250th celebration activities\nBuild fellowship beyond one meeting\n\nLet them experience the strength of Brotherhood again. \n\n📋 Friendly District Challenge\nLodges will track and document Brothers re-engaged through this initiative. \n🏆 The Lodge reconnecting the greatest number of Brothers will receive: \n\nA District-supported Community Pig Roast (100 lb pig)\nA Large District Recognition Plaque\nDistrict bragging rights for leading the work\n\n\n🔑 The True Reward\nThe recognition is meaningful.
