District Visitation Williamson Lodge No. 309

During the February 2026 District Visitation season, we launch a District-wide effort focused on what matters most which is bringing our Brothers back into the light of fellowship.

This initiative, led by the DDGM, is known as the 250th Challenge.

🎯 Purpose of the Initiative

Our collective goal is to personally reconnect with 250 Brothers across the District who have not been seen in Lodge during the past six months.

This is Masonry at its best being personal, caring, and intentional.

District Goal:
10 Lodges • 25 Brothers each • 250 total re-engaged

🤝 What This Looks Like in Action

This is not a mass email or a postcard. This is Brother-to-Brother outreach.

Lodges are encouraged to:

• Call Brothers personally
• Visit face-to-face when possible
• Extend a warm and genuine invitation back to Lodge

Make their return comfortable and meaningful:

• Invite them to a Lodge breakfast or fellowship event
• Offer transportation if needed
• Welcome their wives and families to social gatherings

📘 Helping Brothers Feel Comfortable Again

Some Brothers stay away because they feel disconnected or out of practice. We remove that concern.

When they return, Lodges should:

• Review Lodge symbolism and procedures in a welcoming way
• Update them on Lodge and District happenings
• Assist with GrandView access and updates
• Explain programs such as the Blue Slipper Program
• Reintroduce them to the rhythm of Lodge life

🚗 Rebuilding Brotherhood Through Participation

Encourage renewed involvement:

• Travel together to visit another Lodge
• Attend District breakfasts and events
• Participate in 250th celebration activities
• Build fellowship beyond one meeting

Let them experience the strength of Brotherhood again.

📋 Friendly District Challenge

Lodges will track and document Brothers re-engaged through this initiative.

🏆 The Lodge reconnecting the greatest number of Brothers will receive:

• A District-supported Community Pig Roast (100 lb pig)
• A Large District Recognition Plaque
• District bragging rights for leading the work

🔑 The True Reward

The recognition is meaningful. The fellowship events are memorable.

But the real outcome is simple:

You get your Brother back.
